/ Consultant From 1999 - 2003, Mr. Caverly served as part of a train-the-trainer team for security personnel and an inspection team conducting vulnerability assessments for U.S.Dept. of Energy Naval Reactors program at Naval Bases and Nuclear Sites across the U.S. He has presented counter-intelligence security briefings for several thousand employees at these sites. Investigative Experience As a trained Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) counselor and investigator, Mr. Caverly conducted two major EEO investigations for the FBI. Member of FBI SWAT and Evidence Response Teams. Counseling / Training Experience Facilitates Recovery Retreats for Sky Help Inc., a not-for-profit organization providing intervention services for persons impacted by the events of 9/11 and other air disasters. As Coordinator of the FBI Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for the Albany NY Division, Jim provided short-term counseling and referral services for employees for 18 years. As Team Leader of the FBI Northeast Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team and a member of the Capital District NY Reduce Emergency Stress Team (REST), Jim provided over 75 CISM interventions for law enforcement, fire and emergency medical and other personnel throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. He provided CISM services for FBI personnel after TWA Flight 800, Oklahoma City Bombing, line-of-duty deaths, and bombings in Kenya and Tanzania. Certified trainer in the Mitchell Model of CISM: Group Crisis Intervention, Individual Crisis Intervention and Responding to School Crises. Has trained two hospital CISM teams and numerous other groups, including law enforcement, military, industrial. As Police Training Coordinator for the FBI Albany Division, Jim taught courses in Hostage/Crisis Negotiation, Stress Management, and CISM to over 50 local and state police departments. 1997: received the FBI Master Police Instructor Award.
