Why Me? Why Now?
Understanding and Maximizing the Process of Transition

One thing you can count on in life is change!

"Transition" is the process through which we come to terms with change in our lives.

Scientific research continues to confirm the connection between stress and physical illness and disease. Because changes in life occur frequently and transition (the adaptation to change) is often stressful and chaotic, it can be very beneficial to understand transition as a process, having a beginning, a middle, and an end.

Participants in this seminar will:

- Differentiate between the two basic types of transition

- Explore the three phases of transition

- Assess their own life situation/s and personal coping strategies

- Normalize their own experience of the chaos of transition

- Learn 10 specific strategies for navigating the chaos of transition

- Learn how to harness the energy of chaos to create a new beginning

If we view endings and then new beginnings as the natural order of creation, the emptiness of transition becomes a little less frightening - we know it is leading somewhere, even though it feels like "nowhere" when we are in the midst of it.

This seminar is based on the groundbreaking work of William Bridges in the area of "transition as a process."

This seminar can be adapted for:
- Keynote
- 1/2 day seminar
- 1 day seminar
